In Laze itself, and especially in the surrounding area and Nova Gradiška, many events take place throughout the year.
Some events, such as the Novogradiško Summer, already attract a large number of tourists.

Novogradiško Summer
The largest OPEN AIR domestic music event on the continent – NOVOGRADIŠKO MUSICAL SUMMER.
In recent years, this event has established itself as one of the best musical tourist events, attracting over 60,000 visitors to Nova Gradiška during its 4-day event, eager for top-notch entertainment, free concerts and a rich gastronomic offer. Just some of the performers in recent years include: Saša Matić, Halid Bešlić, Grše, Jelena Rozga, Prljavo Kazalište, Zdravko Čolić, Halid Muslimović, Valentino, Vojko V, Urban, Hanka Paldum, Klapa Cambi, etc.

Sokoli Memorial - Laze
After World War II, the village of Laze counted 35 victims, young men who gave their lives for the future of their country. The Homeland War was a general call for young people to join in the defense and creation of our beautiful country. However, seven of them, five of whom were active football players of the Graničar Laze club, did not live to see their country, they invested their lives in its creation. The residents of Laze, but also all visitors, confirm every year that they have not and will not forget the seven of their residents, the Croatian Falcons, who died in the Homeland War. A memorial mass is held in their honor, and wreaths are laid and candles are lit at the memorial to the Croatian defenders who died in the Homeland War, as well as at the monument to the first Croatian president, Dr. Franjo Tuđman. The memorial concludes with a football match between Graničar and a guest who can sometimes be a big club such as GNK Dinamo Zagreb, NK Osijek, NK Istra, NK Slaven Belupo, etc. The memorial is usually celebrated in the month of June.

If you find yourself in the Oasis of Peace during the village market, the younger generation and children can enjoy various products that they can buy at the stands that are sold right next to the local hall and church.
Fisherman's Evenings - Davor
For twenty years in a row, this magical event has attracted thousands of visitors from all over Croatia. In the very center of Davor, along the picturesque Sava River, you will experience a magic that you will not forget. In addition to a rich gastronomic offer that will satisfy even the most demanding gourmets, here you will be able to enjoy activities that will entertain you all day long. The participation of the Posavac Football Club, the Sava Davor Sports and Fishing Association, local catering establishments and other participants guarantees non-stop fun. The event takes place every year on the first weekend of August and is tied to the national holiday of Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Defenders' Day. During the 2-day event, several tons of freshwater fish from the Sava River and surrounding fishponds will be prepared and eaten. To get to the event, you will only need an hour and a half drive from Zagreb to the motorway exit, and an additional twenty minutes drive on the county road to the east.
