On the occasion of the Sokoli Memorial in 2007, GNK Dinamo Zagreb arrived in Laze and performed with its full squad.
The following players played at the Laze polo ground: Lončarić, Ćorluka, Drpić, Schildenfeld, Čale, Vukojević, Sammir, Pokrivač, Modrić, Eduardo, Šokota, Turina, Buljat, Jertec, Etto, Tomic, Tadic, Kovačević, Mikić, Guela. The result was 11-2 for Dinamo.
In Laze, they were welcomed by 4,000 people. The entire team was taken on a carriage ride through the crowded village, and it was certainly one of the most memorable events in the village's recent history.
